Fly me to the moon....Our next Yoga series might just take you there

Our next Yoga series will explore Chandra Namaskar - Moon Salutations. Yoga flows which celebrate the power of the moon, its cycles and the impact they have on our lives. We will learn each pose individually at first with our knowledge building throughout the series, finding comfort within the new shapes, before linking them together in a slow melodic flow. This practice works well for an evening class like ours, it is also a good way to end the day and turn away from our daily activities towards our calm inner world.

Each phase of the moon brings with it a special energy for that particular lunar cycle and our classes will be led by those phases. Before we had calendars, the moon's phases helped us keep track of time, and we know how the moon affects the oceans' tides. Practicing Chandra Namaskar, the Moon Salutation, is a time to quieten things down so you can listen to your own inner voice, its wisdom, and set your intentions with mindfulness and integrity. 'What do I need more of?', What do I need less of? What is the best use of my energy? or What do I want to create in my life?

We will bring this insight and balancing, cooling Yin energy to our breathing practices, relaxations and guided meditations to calm and soothe our nervous system throughout this inspiring Yoga series.

Starting on Monday 25th April this 5-week series will run each week at 530-645pm and again 7-815pm @ Hadfield Scout Hut.
