Menopause Matters 4 Week Course: Embrace your journey with confidence, balance, and community.

This menopause yoga course is thoughtfully inspired by a range of trusted voices in the field:
-
Davina McCall — sparking open conversation and change around menopause through her media presence and her book Menopausing.
-
Dr. Louise Newson — her research, campaigning, and expert guidance are pivotal in demystifying menopause and offering clarity.
-
Jackie Lynch — whose nutritional expertise provides vital insights into finding natural balance.
-
Petra Coveney’s Yoga for Menopause — a pioneering programme blending yoga practices with menopause-specific tools.

What This Course Won't Do
-
It won’t stop your hot flushes.
-
It won’t guarantee uninterrupted sleep or banish middle-of-the-night bathroom trips.
-
It won’t erase itching, eye floaters or other challenging symptoms.

What This Course Can Offer
It will provide practical, effective tools to navigate these experiences with more joy, steadiness, and a sense of control.
Through tailored yoga practices, breathwork, and supportive self-care techniques, you’ll build resilience, connect with a community, and find new ways to thrive in this transformative phase of life.
This is your invitation to approach menopause with curiosity, compassion, and empowerment. Together, we’ll explore the joys of movement, stillness, and connection to body and mind.

Menopause is a time of profound change, but with the right tools and support, it can also be a time of profound empowerment.

Meet Rebecca
Hi, I’m Rebecca Harvey—Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. I’m a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, and a devoted dog owner who loves nothing more than being outdoors.
As a British Wheel of Yoga (BWY Dip 500) trained Yoga teacher with Catherine Eastwood, I’ve delved deeply into the many aspects of yoga, including philosophy, asana, pranayama, meditation, relaxation, chanting, and mantra. My journey as a yoga student is ongoing, and I’m continually exploring and deepening my understanding of this transformative practice, sharing yoga in weekly classes, workshops, at yoga festivals and on retreats here in the UK and overseas.
Yoga has been a part of my life since my Nana introduced me to it with shoulder stands every morning and books filled with intriguing postures. Travelling and working abroad in white water rafting and outdoor pursuits for several years sparked my interest in the spiritual and philosophical aspects of Eastern traditions and the sense of awe I experience in nature often finds its way into my yoga practice, especially when I’m practicing outdoors or on my SUP board—adding a magical (and sometimes wobbly!) dimension to my practice.
With over 20 years in trauma-informed relational work and qualifications in first aid and mental health first aid, I bring a wealth of experience and compassion to my teaching.
I’m registered with the HCPC and hold teaching insurance through BWY, ensuring that every class is both safe, enriching and hopefully offering you some joy and peace in your day.
