San Kalpa
What matters to you at this stage in your life, I mean really matters?
We will explore a deep state of relaxation during Yoga Nidra ~ a practice which includes your Sankalpa an ancient Yogic tradition which refers to a life lived with heartfelt intention. Your Sankalpa is an intent formed by your heart & mind that focuses you on whats a quality that you value. In practical terms a Sankalpa means a one-pointed determination to focus on a specific goal, a tool meant to harness your will...You might ask yourself the question what really matters to me now, at this point in my life? Maybe take a little time to reflect on this...
What should I wear?
Please wear anything that makes you feel really comfy and cosy – come in your pyjamas if you like!
You just need to be able to move freely and relax fully.
Bring extra layers and warm socks it’s a big church space.
What props should I bring?
Please bring your own mat, a cushion to sit on and perhaps for under your head, a blanket, a jumper or extra layer of clothing, cosy socks and any props you may wish to use such as blocks or a bolster – if you don’t have a bolster bring a bed/sleeping pillow or two and a second blanket and we can make one.
